Dodgeball FAQ

No need to worry in this case!  You can sign up online as an individual and we’ll put you on a team with other individual sign ups just like yourself!  It’s a great way to meet new people, and enjoy the game of dodgeball all at the same time!!!

By signing up to play in our leagues, you not only get the enjoyment of playing, but you also get the perks that come along with it.  Dodgeball is one of our most social leagues and after your games each week you will get a discount coupon to use at one of our sponsor bars.  These discounts include 2-for-1 pitchers and deals on food…. Yah, we’re not joking, we take fun VERY seriously.   

No need to fret, our dodgeball league has different skill divisions, so no matter what your teams experience with dodgeball is, we’ll match you up against similar opponents each week!

Well, every team can get up to 10 team shirts.  Put down your top 3 color choices and we’ll try and get a color close to what you asked for.  Need more shirts for your fully loaded roster??? No problem, you can purchase any extra shirts after your initial 10 for only $6 a shirt.

Comeback Sports number one priority is player safety, and although flying balls all around a court can scare even the manliest of men, we ensure that everyone is playing the game in a safe manner.  We primarily use no-sting, tear proof gator skin balls, which don’t hurt nearly as bad as those hard rubber balls you remember from your youth.  Also, head shots are not tolerated.

Every week your team will play two (2) twenty minute dodgeball games.  You play as much dodgeball as you possibly can within those twenty minutes.  Usually 5-8 matches are played within each twenty minute dodgeball session. The first team to legally eliminate all opposing players will be declared the winner for that match. Whoever wins the most matches in those twenty minutes comes out victorious and a Win is added to their record.

We line up 6 balls at the centerline for the start of a dodgeball game.  These balls vary in sizes, to add to the strategy of the game.

Each team starts off with six (6) players.  Two (2) of those six players have to be females (you can have more than 2 females if you wish).  You can never have more than 6 people on the court at a given time and never more than four (4) guys on the court at a given time.

Teams are usually made up of 7-10 players.  That’s not to say you can’t have more, but if everyone is looking to maximize their dodgeball experience, you probably would do best around 10 players.

Great Question! Returning teams for Kickball, Softball, Dodgeball, and Softball all receive team shirts in their registration.  To keep registration fees low Comeback does not provide team shirts for returning teams in Soccer and Flag Football.

We pride ourselves in putting on the most awesome events around. Comeback Sports hosts The Northwest Coed Classic-Coed Soccer Tournament each Summer. The event features a beer garden, festival zone, live-music, and oh yea a soccer tournament! Check it Out Here! Comeback Sports is also proud to present several Softball Tournaments, Alki Beach Volleyball Open, The Tournament of Champions Flag Football Championship and as always a Championship Tournament to culminate each and every one of our leagues!

Any individual that cancels their participation in a Comeback league after playing in a league game will not be refunded their individual fee. The individual may have their registration applied to a future league, but no refund will be given.

Any team that plays a league game will be responsible for the balance of the league fee. No refund will be given. Team cancellations hurt the league and the other teams in it immensely. We will work with your team to apply your team registration to a future league, but cancellation will not render a refund.

A team that has confirmed their spot in our league may cancel their participation for a full refund as long as they notify the Comeback Team at least 7 business days prior to the start of their league. If a team cancels less than 7 business days prior to the start their league, the Captain will forego the $50 deposit. If a team fails to attend the first game of the season without giving prior notice this is viewed as a cancellation and that team is subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Full Refund: Less (5%) credit card processing fee.

Check Out Our Payment Simplified Page! A $50 deposit confirms your team’s spot in a Comeback League. Your full team balance is due prior to your first game. We offer the ability to split up your team fee among your players online so that they can easily just log in and pay their portion (takes the hassle out of collecting payments). We do suggest doing this at least 2 weeks prior to your league start date so that players have time to register. The team captain can also choose to pay the entire team balance and have players repay them. We accept credit cards and checks. NO CASH is accepting unless dropping off payment at our league office.

No problem! For each league experience we have other groups that are in the same situation as you and can easily fill out a complete team.We can definitely place you on the same team as a friend or group of friends. In your registration form there is a spot for you to name 'players to be teamed with'. Simply  make sure to include the names of the players you would like to be placed on the same team as in your registration and have your friends all sign up as individuals!
